Reaching the Headmaster Office

Before you can hunt down the elusive key, you must advance the main campaign until you gain access to the Headmaster's Office. This zone becomes available during Niamh Fitzgerald’s Trial, allowing you to explore the highest tiers of the Grand Staircase structure. If you have already completed this narrative milestone, you can quickly travel back to the Trophy Room Fuu Flame to begin your ascent.

From the Trophy Room, navigate through the ornate corridors and follow the winding stairs up to the stone gargoyle corridor. You will need to use Alohomora to open the initial locked doors that bar entry to the upper balconies. Once inside the main office, look around the beautifully decorated room for a secondary door that leads even higher into the castle.

Finding the Key of Admittance

To secure the key itself, you must unlock the exterior door within the office that leads to the highest outdoor balcony. Approach the center of the mechanical apparatus to prompt an interaction window where the item can be slotted.
